Greek Sails is one of the longest-established sailing holiday businesses in Greece being founded in 1983.

We remain an independent family-run and family-owned business; we handle your booking, your enquiries, we and our team clean and maintain our yachts, we greet you off the ferry on your arrival in Poros, we help you settle into your yacht on your arrival and we’re always available to discuss sailing itineraries.

For us your holiday experience and enjoyment is a very personal business and we’re proud of the high number of repeat customers we are pleased to greet each year. We pride ourselves on providing our customers clean and well maintained yachts and ensuring you fully enjoy your sailing holiday with us.

Personal attention to your requirements

Because we are small family-run business, we are able to personally ensure our customers’ queries are answered and their holiday arranged as they would like it. If we do this well you may come back in following years...as indeed many of our customers do.

You can also be sure you are directly talking to the owners of the business. You are not dealing with a call centre or a booking agent who has never been to the location you are enquiring about. We live in Poros and sail the area and our yachts extensively.

We are able to answer almost any query about any aspect of your sailing holiday with Greek Sails, and believe us, over the years we’ve been asked most things! So we are confident we can answer any question you have, be it about the yachts, the sailing area, sailing conditions, getting here, where to visit or any other query you might have.

We’re experienced sailors ourselves!

Unlike some flotilla & yacht charter companies we are keen sailors ourselves - we are not simply in the business of selling yacht charters.

We sail our own yachts out of season and even organise the annual ‘Round the Island race’...around the island of Poros that is. This race may be slightly smaller than the possibly better known race around the Isle of Wight off the UK south coast, but is none the less enjoyed by all its participants as much for the ‘après sail’ as for the races themselves.

• Short and irregular period yacht charter...we won’t insist on you chartering Sat to Sat only
• Assisted bareboat charter...where you have an experienced skipper with you to assist you as you may need
• Skippered & crewed yacht charter where you have a skipper to take responsibility for the yacht
• Sail & Stay holidays where you can spend some of your holiday ashore, maybe exploring the wonderful ancient Greek sites surrounding us and some of your holiday sailing
