★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Guesthouse Lila is such a special place - Lila and Dimitris are kind, gracious hosts and make sure you fully experience Syros! This was such a welcoming home for a solo traveler and would also be great for families. I looked forward to breakfast outside every morning (homemade spinach pie, Greek yogurt and honey, fresh tomato and eggs, a full pot of coffee) and followed all of Lila’s recommendations she drew out on the map of Syros when I arrived. I couldn’t recommend staying here more! Thank you, Lila and Dimitris.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I spend 2 weeks with my husband and 5 month’s baby at one of the apartments . We felt in love with Ermoupolis and Lila’s family. Everything was perfect. Looking forward to get back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Apart from the fact that no person would ever have a single problem with the beautiful rooms and the space, I would like to mention the hospitality I and my friends received. The hosts, Lila and Dimitris, objectively had no profit by helping us and offering us solutions. And despite that, they were always providing us information around Syros and were willing to help whenever an obstacle appeared in our way. Sometimes we Greeks brag about the greek hospitality, even though nowadays some would say this is more of an exception and less of a rule in Greece. I'm very satisfied to have lived the exception and recommend anyone to spend their holidays there

It's the sincere help & generosity of Lila and Dimitros that truly makes this place and our stay one of the best we've had. They have gone absolutely above and beyond to give us a good experience & comfortable stay - without asking anything in return. Not to speak of the comfortable and characteristic rooms, the superb location in the city, delicious breakfast and excellent pricing. Coming back to the guesthouse in the evening or during the day felt like coming home.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The warm welcome was top notch. We benefitted from very helpful and accurate tips from Lila and Dimitrios on swimming, buses round the island and eating etc and we travelled far and wide. We thoroughly enjoyed our 8 days. Lila has designed a stylish cosmopolitan environment. Lila and Dimitrios have created a very friendly supportive environment. Due to our late booking we had to move to 3 different spacious rooms and the apartment with sea views was our favourite. The rooms are very comfortable and we'll equipped. We ate in a few times buying simple food locally and using the fridge and kettle. Breakfast is very good but for a longer stay more variety would be welcome. Sitting out for breakfast in the October sun was a treat. Visitors to Syros need to enjoy climbing steps because everywhere in Syros apart from the seafront seems to be up several flights of steps. Lila dropped us to our early flight which topped off a superb stay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lila has built an excellent place for you to stay while visiting Syros. Its a very old building that she renovated and looks great. She is super friendly, picked us up from ferry, and with an early check in. Great fast internet, Netflix on tv, delicious breakfast and ideal location.
