★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Το αγαπημένο μας κατάστημα, σταμάτησε να φέρνει ρούχα για κορίτσια 9-14 στο υποκατάστημα του Metro Mall, προκειμένου να φτιάξει χώρο για το αντρικό κομμάτι.
Κατόπιν παραπόνων μου, με παρέπεμψαν στο (εξαιρετικό κατά τ' άλλα) κατάστημα της Γλυφάδας, που ειναι πολυ πιο μακριά απο τις περιοχεςΑγίου Δημητρίου- Αλίμου- Ηλιούπολης.
Μου πρότειναν ταυτόχρονα, όμως, τη λύση του να παίρνει η κόρη μου τα υπάρχοντα ρούχα του καταστήματος σε μέγεθος xs.
ΔΕΝ είναι το μέγεθος το πρόβλημα!
Το ζήτημα είναι πως ένα κορίτσι 10 και 11 χρονών δεν έχει ούτε τον σωματότυπο, ούτε και το στυλ ενός κοριτσιού 18 ετών. Το είδος των ρούχων είναι διαφορετικό για τις ηλικίες αυτές.
Η ένστασή μου βρίσκεται, λοιπόν, στο ότι το παιδί προεφηβείας των 11 ετών δε χρειάζεται να ντυθεί σα 18άρα, ακόμη και 16άρα επειδή δε βρίσκει κάτι άλλο. Εξωθείται, έτσι, σε μια πρόωρη 'θηλυκοποίηση'. Σε μια πρόωρη αποκάλυψη σημείων του σώματός του, ενώ είναι ακόμη παιδί, με ό,τι αυτό σημαίνει στο πώς το διαχειρίζεται ψυχικά.
Για όσους ακουστώ υπερβολική ή πουριτανή, δεν είμαι. Θέλω, απλά, η 11χρονη κόρη μου να διαλέγει τι να φορέσει στο αγαπημένο της μαγαζί ρούχων κοντά στο σπίτι της.
Κάτι που θα της ταιριάζει.

 Our favorite store stopped bringing clothes for girls 9-14 to the Metro Mall branch, in order to make room for the men's part.
Following my complaints, I was referred to the (otherwise exceptional) store in Glyfada, which is much further away from the areas of Agios Dimitrios-Alimos-Ilioupoli.
At the same time, however, they offered me the solution for my daughter to get the existing clothes of the store in xs size.
Size is NOT the problem!
The problem is that a 10 and 11 year old girl has neither the body type nor the style of an 18 year old girl. The type of clothes is different for these ages.
My objection, then, is that the 11-year-old pre-adolescent child does not need to dress like an 18-year-old, even a 16-year-old because he can not find anything else. He is thus forced into an early 'feminization'. In an early revelation of parts of his body, while he is still a child, with what this means in how he manages it mentally.
To those who sound exaggerated or puritanical, I'm not. I just want my 11-year-old daughter to choose what to wear to her favorite clothing store near her home.
Something that will suit her.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The rating is so low because this H&M doesn't have a men's section, at all, which makes absolutely no sense.
22/2/22:
I've updated the review and now give them four stars instead of one, as a new section has been opened in the store which now sells menswear. The section is still quite small but it's a good step forward, and the staff is friendly.
