★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A friendly, pretty, family taverna with good home-made food. Some of the salads and vegetables were grown by the establishment, or tasted that way. Some embellishments are a bit unusual, and the salads show that someone in the kitchen has a creative flair, but the whole menu is unpretentious and solidly in the Greek tradition. I’m going to say “friendly” again because I was genuinely impressed by the warm and helpful waitstaff. Decent prices at the low end of the normal range. The stewed rabbit with noodles and the salad with paximadia were especially popular at our table. Everything a seaside taverna should be.

Traditional Greek cuisine with many cooked and roasted dishes, standing out the salads with local cheese, various ouzo & beer “mezedes” (snacks), fried cheese pie and mussels in a garlic sauce. Not a great variety of sweets.
Wheelchair access is available.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely taverna by the golden Papa Nero Beach. A must visit taverna when visiting the area. Great food, great service and relaxed atmosphere under the 30 meter high tree courtyard. Will visit again soon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice (and only open now) taverna in Pépé Nero Beach. Food is great, and more refined then in an ordinary tavern. If you come in a lunchtime peak, be ready to wait more. Otherwise a cool and welcoming place.
