C	Cătălin P on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've eaten something here and there was probably something wrong with the food, because afterwards I felt sick so I went to the beech outside to lay down on one of the rusty chairs. There were only 4 people on the beech and the guy from the bar came to me and told me I couldn't stay there unless I payed a charge, even if I had eaten earlier at their own place, even if I felt sick, even if the place was empty. It's a shame this happens in Greece. Don't recommend this place.

We were a group that has health issues and cannot eat gluten, lactose and most fruit and vegetables and they still didn't let us have our snacks there even though we ordered coffee. Every other place in the area let us when we explained. Ridiculous. Edit for the very helpful comment of the owner : we are not NORMAL people. We have HEALTH ISSUES and there was NOTHING for us to eat in your menu. So at the end we agree, people with health issues should not come to your establishment.

We sat (2 persons) at the front row of the cafe (for coffee) and they forced us to change seats using as an excuse that the front tables are available only for those who want to have lunch while the same time other people enjoyed their coffee at front row 's tables. We did what they asked. However after 45' no one appeared... After 1 hour, 4 persons sat at the same front table just for coffee and the same waiter didn't say anything to them! UNACCEPTABLE and UNREASONABLE during the tourist period...

My review though: The management and the personnel are very rude. I asked them to be more polite and respect their customers while we were trying to leave their place because we were so upset. They chased us tried to punch us. They were stopped by the other customers. I then asked other people around (locals and visitors) and all admitted that these guys very often have troubles with their customers. Avoid this bar. Is the only way to be punished.

The white wine could be a lot better though. Another point for the owners to consider is also the fact that in most seaside cafés you don't have to pay for the sunbeds when you order from the bar...
M	MarciaLH on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Platanos is a beautifully located beach bar/restaurant right next to the wonderful and quiet Papa Nero beach. The staff was very friendly and we were served right away. The bacon club sandwiches we tried along with a green salad and a couple of drinks were impeccable. A downside for me was that the sun-beds with the umbrella were a bit on the pricey side with no discount if you ordered anything to drink or eat from the place.
