Cozy hotel with beautiful garden, parking and playground. Well equipped with kitchen stove, oven, kettle and even coffee machine. Clean rooms, bathroom. Hosts are very pleasant and helpful and always available. You can take sunbeds and umbrellas to the beach.

We are staying at Haus Zografia for a second summer, for 7 nights. The experience is only getting better. The location is good, 5-10 min to the beautiful long beach of Ormos Panagyas. The rooms are very clean, they change the towels every 3 days. The kitchenette contains everything that you need to prepare some meals and salads at home. There is a small electric oven great for baking a morning sandwich with feta and butter or even for cooking a dish. If you are missing something, you just kindly ask and the owners will help. The commutation with Apostolos has been seamless. He responds in a very timely manner, made the reservation process really easy for us and is always there when I have a question for a local market or restaurant, or need a set of cards. His parents who run the place are very sweet too. They look after the garden, helped us with the BBQ, and are always here with a smile. What I like a lot about this place is the fact that there are quiet hours 15:00-17:30, so I was able to take my afternoon nap undisturbed every day. It is a great place for families with kids, with a ping pong table, volleyball and basketball nets. I was able to do my yoga practice in the garden in peace at 8am without any worries. One disadvantage is that in the rooms looking west you can hear the traffic from the main road that is not very far, but this was an issue mostly on the weekend when the traffic gets heavier and lasts until later. There is a creek nearby, so there are frogs, turtles and all kinds of bugs in proximity, but this is valid for all houses all the way to the beach. The restaurants in the small town of Ormos Panagyas are delicious, the homemade tzatziki salad in Avra is the best I have tried. Finally, I would say it is a good place for a peaceful vacation, near a beautiful beach line, a nice local supermarket, a bakery, a meat store and all fast food and regular restaurants you need. The highlight of my stays in this place is the sunrise - I definitely recommend it. Wake up, walk towards the other end is the beach line (in the opposite direction of Ormos Panagyas village), climb the hill with the goats and chickens shacks abd watch the sun rise over mount Athos. Simply beautiful.
