★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good variety of local products and souvenirs. Also you can buy different kind of famous chocolates and much more. But the prices..... I don't think it does much of a difference, if you buy them from your local store, besides you are saving yourself all the extra weight and the fuss.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The attitude and quality of customer service from the staff leave a lot to be desired. We purchased a variety of items but quickly discovered we had been charged twice for one of them. Getting a refund involved a long wait for a supervisor to emerge and fill in a form book. She barely acknowledged us. The cashier who made the error was very blase about his error and even strangely said he had not been trying to cheat us. No acknowledgement of the error, no apology, just an attitude that I was wasting their time. These people give Greek tourism a poor reputation.

They sold me a bag - without even asking me if I want it - and they didn't tell me that it costs 9 cents. It's not expensive at all, but it is betrayl in my opinion.
It's okay to pay for a bag, only ask your clients and tell them clearly, that it costs extra - BEFORE you offer. I have the right to choose.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The worst service ever. The staff at the cash register is impolite, unprofessional and arrogant. They even charge for extra plastic bags. If you buy one bottle at a time, they will give one bag each time but if you buy three bottles together and ask for two more bags, you will be charged extra. It's not about 20 cents more, it's about the twisted and ridiculous logic that prevails in this duty free shop. Plastic protective sleeves they provide for wine bottles are worthless, don't protect and often unavailable. Such a sad way to end a great trip to an amazing city of Thessaloniki. Avoid this shop.
