★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ooh. This was in such a lively setting. It was not hard to imagine how it may have looked thousands of years ago. It was free to visit but a shame no info available for the visitor.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Old temple of Hera, really beautiful and full of energy. A really interesting visit, beware of the sun, it is really hot when passed 11 o' clock.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There is no cost to visit the site, and we were the only visitors. Nothing is fenced off so you can wonder around as you please. There is a fantastic view, and the remains of a temple in which you can explore. Well worth the side trip. An hour or so is plenty of time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An ancient temple, part of the greatest sanctuary in the Argolid that was dedicated to Hera, goddess of marriage and of the life of women. Hera was also a patron of the cities of Argos and Samos.
