★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Capitale di Creta con aeroporto principale. Conta circa 180k persone rimaste praticamente agli anni 70: città sporca con cani e gatti randagi ovunque. Il default dell’ultimo decennio unito al covid ha massacrato la città che vive soprattutto col turismo. Negozi abbandonati ed infrastrutture fatiscenti. Si salva solo il centro e la zona portuale della Rocca veneziana che attirano tutta la vita notturna animando i ristorantini. Passeggiata sul corso Augustos obbligata. Prezzi onesti. Salvo il museo archeologico ed il palazzo di cnosso. Non credo ci tornerò
 Capital of Crete with main airport. It counts about 180k people practically left to the 70s: dirty city with stray dogs and cats everywhere. The default of the last decade combined with the covid has massacred the city that lives mainly on tourism. Abandoned shops and dilapidated infrastructure. Only the center and the port area of the Venetian Rocca are saved, attracting all the nightlife animating the restaurants. A walk on the Augustos course is obligatory. Honest prices. Except the archaeological museum and the palace of knossos. I don't think I'll be back
