★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stayed here a long time ago for an occasion (wedding)- definitely recommend the accommodation as well, but this review is for the Herbs Garden restaurant.
I wanted to write this review to talk about how fresh everything in the restaurant was. The salads were delectable. I loved the rusks that were served with the greek salad.
I had the risotto because I'm a vegetarian. Greece has become a lot more friendly toward vegetarian cuisine options but Herbs Garden was extremely accommodating and offered a lot of change and substitution options for their dishes to be made vegetarian friendly.
Some of my dining companions had the fish and they cleaned the plate. This place has a really professional vibe, everything is coordinated. It is beautifully decorated and the staff is thoughtful. I think business groups would find the setting appropriate for work meetups and conferences and I'd also recommend it for events. I've seen a lot of weddings and events staying/eating and enjoying at this establishment. Beautiful views!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our group ate multiple meals on the rooftop terrace at Herb's Garden and each time was an excellent experience. Such a wonderful atmosphere where we were always treated like family. For the tastiest in Cretan cuisine with beautiful panoramic views from the rooftop, do not miss this gem . Can't wait to visit again someday. A +++
