★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Agalasti je jedno od najstarijih sela na Pilionu koje se nalazi na jugu poluostrva. Napravljen je na plodnoj visoravni okružen maslinjacima i nalazi se 41 km od Volosa. Veliki prostor, na kome se nalazi Argalasti, je nekada bio ogroman travnjak na kome se odvijala ozbiljna poljoprivredna proizvodnja. Ovde su se tokom 15 veka naselili mnogobrojni Grci sa svojim stadima iz cele Grčke, bežeći od turske okupacije. Argalasti je tokom turske imperije bio centar Piliona.
Agalasti is one of the oldest villages in the Pilion located in the south of the peninsula. It is made on a fertile plateau surrounded by olive groves and is located 41 km from Volos. The large area where Argalasti is located was once a huge lawn where serious agricultural production took place. Many Greeks with their flocks from all over Greece settled here during the 15th century, escaping Turkish occupation. Argalasti was the center of Pilion during the Turkish Empire.
