★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Κατανυκτική ατμόσφαιρα και η ορθοδοξία στο μεγαλείο της. Ένα εκκλησάκι στον τόπο που μαρτύρησε η Αγία Φιλοθέη. Το μόνο στενάχωρο τα εντοιχιζόμενα κομμάτια από αρχαίο ναό κατά πάσα πιθανότητα που βρίσκονταν εκεί. Δεν γνωρίζω λεπτομέρειες. Θα μάθω και θα επανέλθω.
 Overnight atmosphere and orthodoxy in all its glory. A small church in the place where Agia Filothei was martyred. The only grief is the walled pieces of an ancient temple that were probably there. I do not know details. I will learn and I will come back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ένα εκκλησάκι που σαν ογδοήτης αλλά και για ένα χρόνο μαθητής πρώτης λυκείου στο παράρτημα ήταν καθημερινός σταθμός αναφοράς.Δεν γνώριζα ότι ήταν τόπος μαρτυρίου της Αγίας Φιλοθέης.Εβαλα υπέρ υγείας το κεράκι μου .Χάζεψα και την όμορφη πλατεία .Έβγαλα φωτό ένα παράξενο στήλο .Ωραίες αναμνήσεις από τη περιοχή .
A small church that as an eighth grader but also for a year a first high school student in the branch was a daily reference station. I did not know that it was a place of martyrdom of Agia Filothei. I put my candle in favor of health. memories from the area.

A truly sacred place in the center of Athens, among old but simply familiar buildings. Young priests, loved ones, honest people, faithful, you feel the holiness of Love and you feel safe. An oasis for us ordinary Christians.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The church itself is lovely but if you go during service be prepared to be told to sit with people of the same sex as you. Orthodoxy demands segregation and maintains sex inequality at all costs. Shame.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ..a holy place where Saint Filothei was beaten to death for her Beliefs during occupation of Greece late 15th century..usually people forget but when are in need they pray for God's help..it's not only money and living careless it's to help other people in need without making a show up.
