Brilliant Holy Temple with History in time. Great Hagiographers have paid their presence, Priests, Hierolochites, great people of the Athenian society and not only.

Wonderful Temple with amazing icons and hagiographies. There is an external burial monument of Ypsilantis and the whole surrounding area a magic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The most lovely and special church in Athens hands down! The priest is very welcoming with a healthy sense of humour and the church feels cozy. Ideal for families and also ideal for functions. Great for baptism as you can have the reception in the park. Highly recommended church to visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A medieval orthodox church inside the park"Pedion Areos" in the centre of Athens. It's worth a visit just to admire the gorgeous wall paintings. It's something different than the classical greek orthodox churches. You can combine the visit with a walk around the park. I suggest to use the public transport because parking is not available.
