 Beautiful church, unfortunately it is locked. Be careful, the road is a dirt road and needs attention with a normal car. Especially if it has rained

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ο μικρός, μονόχωρος ναός βρίσκεται στην ευρύτερη περιοχή του Μαρκόπουλου στον δρόμο προς την Μερέντα. Σήμερα, η εξωτερική όψη του ναού είναι ασβεστωμένη και έτσι δε διακρίνεται ο βυζαντινός του χαρακτήρας.
Στη δυτική πλευρά, και πάνω από τη θύρα εισόδου, έχει εντοιχισθεί τμήμα αγάλματος. Στο εσωτερικό του σώζονται τοιχογραφίες που περιγράφουν τη ζωή και το έργο του Αγίου Γεωργίου με δεκαέξι παραστάσεις.
The small, one-room church is located in the wider area of Markopoulos on the road to Merenda. Today, the exterior of the church is whitewashed and thus its Byzantine character is indistinguishable.
On the west side, and above the entrance door, there is a part of a statue. Inside are preserved frescoes that describe the life and work of St. George with sixteen representations.
