★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ο ναός της τελευταίας περιόδου της τουρκοκρατίας (πρώτο μισό του 19ου αι.) ήταν τρίκλιτη βασιλική με ανοικτή στοά που κάλυπτε τη βόρεια, τη δυτική και τη νότια πλευρά του. Δεν ήταν αγιογραφημένος και διέθετε μόνο φορητές εικόνες των μέσων του 19ου αι. Περιφερειακά υπήρχαν κελιά για τη φιλοξενία επισκεπτών και πανηγυριστών καθώς και νεκροταφείο από το οποίο σώζονταν ως πρόσφατα επιτύμβιοι σταυροί με ονόματα και χρονολογίες του 18ου και του 19ου αι.. Στο ναό ανήκε ο γειτονικά ευρισκόμενος νερόμυλος ως βακούφι και 300 στρ. γεωργικού κλήρου. Από τον παλαιό ναό σώζεται μόνο η θέση της Αγίας Τράπεζας εκεί που έχει ανεγερθεί προσκυνητάρι νοτιοανατολικά της σημερινής εκκλησίας. Ελάχιστα είναι και τα κειμήλια που δείχνουν το παρελθόν όπως δύο Ευαγγελιστάρια του 19ου αι., ένας σταυρός αγιασμού και μερικές φθαρμένες εικόνες της ίδιας περιόδου. Το 1949 άρχισε η ανέγερση του υπάρχοντος ναού. Το 1970 προστέθηκαν ο γυναικωνίτης ,ο νάρθηκας καθώς και το κωδωνοστάσιο. Είναι αγιογραφημένος και διαθέτει σύγχρονο ξυλόγλυπτο τέμπλο και προσκυνητάρια.
The church of the last period of Ottoman rule (first half of the 19th century) was a three-aisled basilica with an open portico that covered its north, west and south sides. It was not hagiographed and had only portable icons of the middle of the 19th century. Peripherally, there were cells for the hospitality of visitors and celebrants as well as a cemetery from which were preserved as recent tomb crosses with names and dates of the 18th and 19th century. Of the old church, only the site of the Holy Table survives, where a shrine has been erected southeast of the present church. There are few relics that show the past such as two 19th century Gospels, a cross of sanctification and some worn icons of the same period. In 1949 the construction of the existing church began. In 1970 the gynaikonitis, the narthex and the bell tower were added. It is hagiographed and has a modern wood-carved iconostasis and shrines.
