★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Μικρή εκκλησία στον τύπο σταυροειδούς τετρακιόνιου ναού, αντιπροσωπευτικό δείγμα εκκλησιαστικής αρχιτεκτονικής στα τέλη του 19ου αιώνα. Ο Άγιος Νικόλαος έχει εντονότερο νεοβυζαντινό ύφος σε σχέση με τον Άγιο Γεώργιο στο πάρκο Ριζάρη απέναντι.
Small church in the type of a four-column cruciform church, a representative example of ecclesiastical architecture in the late 19th century. Agios Nikolaos has a more intense neo-Byzantine style compared to Agios Georgios in the Rizari park opposite.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Die Renovierungsarbeiten an der Kirche St. Nikolaus - ΑΓΙΟΣ ΝΙΚΟΛΑΟΣ ΠΤΩΧΟΚΟΜΕΙΟΥ- begannen im Januar 2008 und sind mittlerweile abgeschlossen. Bei den Renovierungsarbeiten wurden Fresken alter historischer athenischer Tempel freigelegt. Die Stiftung "Nikolaus Diamantis Vater" bot 300.000 Euro an.
The renovation work on the Church of St. Nicholas - ΑΓΙΟΣ ΝΙΚΟΛΑΟΣ ΠΤΩΧΟΚΟΜΕΙΟΥ- began in January 2008 and has now been completed. During the renovation work, frescoes of old historical Athenian temples were uncovered. The "Nikolaus Diamantis Vater" foundation offered 300,000 euros.
