★ ★ ★ ★ ★ People gather around the place when the nearby drink stores close at 00.00 midnight due to covid19 extremely retarded measures against logic. People stay until 3-4 am but be aware since there are no beers or stores open for that matter so you need to be prepared. There is a confirmed rumor a small turkish shop stays half open for people who are really thirsty even afterhours.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ this church is also o museum of the recent history of Athens... you can see it..you can feel it. from hagiography (orthodox christian wall art) to the floor and chairs.. it is such a beautiful place.. must visit.. atmosphere is unique and the cross made with the holy piece of Christ's cross will make you visit the church again...
