★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Μια ομορφιά αυτή η εκκλησία, με ωραία ιστορία που αξίζει να μάθεις, χτισμένη δίπλα στην κοίτη του Ιλισσού, πάνω σε αρχαία ιερά. Γαληνεύεις και μόνο που κάθεσαι για λίγο μέσα σε αυτήν την όαση, διότι κατά το άλλα, η τέλεση μυστηρίου εκεί είναι ένα μαρτύριο και δεν θα το συνιστούσα σε κανέναν. Τα μυστήρια διαρκούν ελάχιστα γιατί όλοι θέλουν να παντρευτούν εκεί, κόσμος, φασαρία, κορναρίσματα, τριπλοπαρκαρίσματα και δεν συμμαζεύεται. Το έχουν κάνει μπίζνα και ίσως δεν θα έπρεπε να αισθάνονται και τόσο περήφανοι γι αυτό
 This church is a beauty, with a beautiful history that is worth learning, built next to the riverbed of Ilissos, on ancient sanctuaries. You calm down just sitting for a while in this oasis, because otherwise, performing a sacrament there is a martyrdom and I would not recommend it to anyone. The mysteries do not last long because everyone wants to get married there, people, noise, honking, triple parking and it does not get together. They have done it in business and maybe they should not feel so proud of it

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Around this area you can see the remaining ancient riverbed and the valley of Ilissos. The rest of the river is under Kalliroye street. The area was very green during ancient times and there were many temples and worship places. Also the holy Kalliroye spring is in front of the church.
The church was built between 18th - 19th century and was renovated in 1980. Worth a visit if you're in the area.
