★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A small Christian Orthodox church, blending a mix of architectural styles. Some of the icons (especially the one depicting Christ's humiliation on the left as you enter) are of extreme beauty. The place allows for serenity and prayer amidst the chaos of the surrounding tourist area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our 2nd time in Athens and we revisited this charming little church on the rim of the Acropolis area. It was closed for a private baptism event. But a stroke of luck - Fanis the church warden saw us hovering outside and invited us in for a quick look. We shall never forget his kindness and hospitality. An oasis of peace and spirituality in a busy location. Much appreciation and gratitude to Fanis. God bless.
