S	Stella Synouri on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Επισκέπτομαι το μοναστήρι κάθε χρόνο. Είναι χτισμένο σε πλαγιά του Υμμητού και η θέα προς τα δυτικά, στο Σαρωνικό, είναι εντυπωσιακή. Η Μονή φαίνεται ότι χτίστηκε στα Μεταβυζαντινά χρόνια, αν και σύμφωνα με κάποιες θεωρίες ενδέχεται να χτίστηκε τον 12ο αιώνα. Η εκκλησία, οι κήποι και οι αυλές έξω από τα κελλιά των μοναχών είναι πολύ περιποιημένα. Ενδιαφέρον παρουσιάζει και ο οχυρωματικός πύργος, στη βορειοδυτική γωνία τού περιβόλου, που φαίνεται ότι χρησίμευε και σαν παρατηρητήριο εκτός από οχυρωματικό έργο. I visit the monastery every year. It is built on a slope of Mount Hymettus and the view to the west, in the Saronic Gulf, is impressive. The monastery seems to have been built in the Post-Byzantine years, although according to some theories it may have been built in the 12th century. The church, the gardens and the courtyards outside the monks' cells are very neat. Also of interest is the fortification tower, in the northwest corner of the enclosure, which seems to have served as an observatory in addition to fortification.
e	eleftheria ta on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Εξαιρετική Μονή..Πολύ περιποιημένο μέρος. Πεντακάθαρο. Με ωραίο περιποιημένο κήπο. Μένουν κάποιες μοναχές μέσα οι οποίες είναι ευγενέστατες. Μια όαση. Ένας παράδεισος, αξίζει να την επισκεφθείτε. Excellent Monastery..Very well-kept place. Very clean. With a nice manicured garden. There are some nuns left who are very kind. An oasis. A paradise, worth a visit.
Γ	ΓΙΩΡΓΟΣ ΝΑΣΜΗΣ on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ένα ησυχαστήριο τόσο κοντά στην Αθήνα. Μόλις μπεις στην μονή βλέπεις έναν πανέμορφο , περιποιημένο κήπο και το εκκλησάκι του Αγίου Ιωάννη στη μέση. Οι μοναχές πολύ φιλόξενες. Σας συνιστώ να παρακολουθήσετε έστω και μια φορά τη λειτουργία, ακόμα και αν δεν είστε και πολύ της εκκλησίας , θα σας μαγεψει A sanctuary so close to Athens. As soon as you enter the monastery you see a beautiful, manicured garden and the church of Agios Ioannis in the middle. The nuns are very hospitable. I advise you to attend the service even once, even if you are not much of a church, it will enchant you

T	Telly Halkias on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I grew up on Odos Makedonias (teos Odos Anatolis) in the 1970s, just a 15 minute walk from this jewel of a medieval monastery, where its Order of Sisters by the same name exists to this day. The scenic beauty of the location and history or the structures within add to the spiritual serenity one can find here. The nuns have always been warm and hospitable to guests. The beauty of the courtyard in seasons of blooming flowers, and the interior of the chapel on the premises, cannot be described in words. Well worth the visit, whether for secular interest, or for the pursuit of faith.
