The decision to shop with small companies, run by real people who are passionate about life and create products that serve the community has been a credo of mine to actively support more sustainable and community oriented initiatives. I live in a surf hot-spot and was looking for quality t-shirts with rather individual design, produced from sustainable resources and in smaller volumes. I found Homegrown Surfcraft through social media and it immediately captured my attention. Ben is a passionate young entrepreneur, shaping customized surfboards out of Chania in Crete, and offers apparel that displays his creative side. So I decided to order some tees for my eclectic collection. His swift and helpful responses to all my questions, along with his readiness to get them to me as quickly as possible left me in awe. Surfing his website for goodies as well as the ordering process went down smoothly and seamlessly. Within a couple of minutes I had chosen the apparel, put the items in my cart and checked out.
