Hop in Sightseeing - Leoforos Vasilisis Amalias 44

Took the Delphi day tour, which was not operated directly by hop in but by a company called g.o. tours on their behalf. They picked us up around 30 minutes late as according to them some other people were late. Then they still had us 15 minutes more waiting for the guide who also arrived late. In the way to delfi, they stoped us at an overpriced coffee place for tourists in the middle of nowhere with which they have probably some arrangement. When we arrived to delfi we found out the entry was for free this day (good that we did not take entry with the agency, as they charge 12euro) all other people in the tour had already paid 12 euro for the entry (and of course no one told them). Also keep in mind in winter the ticket directly at the site is reduced price of 6 euro. The tour was made by the same guide in two different languages, which means losing your time listening to everything twice. After that they took us to am overpriced tourist restaurant, again in the middle of nowhere, so you are forced to eat there. On the way back they stopped us in the very nice village of Arachova - but just for 20 minutes... And in front of a souvenir shop of course! Our time would be better used if they let us eat on our own exploring the village, but sure, this trip is planned as a way to exploit tourists as much as possible. If we could go back, we would definitely rent a car and go on our own.

Short version: THIEVES! Avoid. Avoid. Avoid at ALL costs! I paid them €204 for a day trip, and they failed to pick us up at the correct location, and refused to refund the money for a trip I didnt take! They are the rudest travel agency I've ever seen. They literally call you names and shamelessly insult you and have no respect to their customers. I was told "you're insane" when I asked to speak to a manager, a manager who kept hiding and refused to speak to me. One of their staff told us "I have work now and have no time for you" and later stormed into a room smashing the door behind her! When we asked them to take the bus we paid for (€12) from a different location, that individual told me "My salary is €700, do you expect me to pay for your transportation" -which doesnt make any sense! The bus was right in front of us, ad we had already paid for it! She later used her salary as an excuse for stealing the money saying "you may not care about the money, but when you get paid €700 and your rent is €200, you will care about it".

0 Stars!!!! Don't book anything at this company! I booked an Athens night out tour (very expensive for nothing) and the women at the office was sooooo unfriendly. I am greek but I talked in English. They insulted us behind our back and I heard everything. The tour was payed, also I don't get my money back. Never in my life I will ever book a tour from this company. Bad service, high prices, absurd insults, untrustworthy and a waste of time.

We booked the 3 day Santorini tour and had a mixed but still enjoyable experience. On the very positive side the organization and logistics including transfers and ferries were seamless. Our Athens transfer taxi drivers Spiros and Stefanos (not sure of spelling) were great. The hotel was comfortable and had a view of Kalmari beach but was far from the caldera and lower standard than we expected. The issue was value for money as the tour cost was 1040 euros for 2 with fast ferry and hotel upgrade but I estimate that if we organized everything ourselves we would have paid around 700 euros staying in the same hotel. Having a company organize everything is great but I think Hop in should give some options for hotel when booking so this is not an unknown and to avoid any possible disappointment.

Don't go to this agency, the girl who we talked with was rude and impolite and besides she lied to us regarding the schedules of the cruises so that she could sell us more expensive packages. We even told her that we saw the tickets we wanted in internet but she told us that it was not true.

What a nightmare! I wouldn't recommend this agency and its tours to anyone . I booked the 1-day tour to Delphi, but I was quite disappointed and had one of the worst experiences ever. As regards the tour, you pay a lot, but spend most of the time on the bus. You only have approx. 2 hours to visit the site and the museum. On top of that, the tour was both in English and Italian, and it was carried out by the very same person, who said every sentence in English first, and then translated it into Italian. This was pretty annoying and distracting. After the tour, you're taken to a low quality restaurant in the middle of nowhere and you have no chance of eating anywhere else, which is quite a scam. But the worst part was on my way back to Athens. I tried to go to the toilet, only to find out that it was out of order. Nobody had warned us about this issue, there was no sign on the toilet door (note: 45 people were on the bus that day, with no chance of using the toilet whatsoever). When asking the tour guide, Iorgos, to help me out because I desperately needed to use the toilet, his reaction was inhumane and outrageous. He told me that they wouldn't do any stops, and that he wouldn't open the toilet for me. I literally begged him to help me, and asked "What could I do?". His reply: "Pray". I was desperate and about to cry, so I asked him to drop me in the middle of the highway. His only concern was to make it clear that, if I decided to get off the bus, the responsibility for anything would be mine, not theirs. He was not worried or interested in helping me out. It was a nightmare, something that I really hope won't happen to anybody else in the future. Please, avoid this agency!

Me and my 5 friends booked the 1 day cruise to Poros Ydra and Aigina back in may 2020.. Due to covid 19 we had to rebook our trip and the cruise for October 2021. Beginning September we tried repeatedly to contact the agency to check if the cruise will take place .. never got an answer.. we send emails... never got an answer .. we tried calling over 20 times on their professional line and the only time that someone answered was an electrician that happened to pass by and repair an electrical problem...!!! They indeed informed us by email, only the day before the cruise, that it has been cancelled. So with no plans, no cruise and no further info we decided to pass by the agency. Surprise!!! It was closed down. We asked them for an immediate reimbursement or vouchers via emails. Nada nada nada !!!! All this to say that this agency is the worst publicity for tourism in Athens. As a retired touristic employee I have never, ever been treated the way that this agency treats a potential client. Again this agency is bad publicity and bad news for all of us ..Athenians of the world.

I booked a tour with this company in February, but due to the corona measures I was not allowed to fly to Greece at the time I wanted to take the tour. According to their website you get a full refund when you cancel the tour in time, but this is hard to accomplish when they never reply. I only got a reply to one of my emails (I sent around 6) in which they told me I couldn't get a refund, just an option to rebook it. Even then, after I replied I still didn't receive a word back. I kept sending emails, to no avail. Then I tried their phone number, but was told they only operate through email. I will never book with this agency again, and would encourage others from refraining to do so as well.
