If you're a "fussy" traveler, don't stay here. Rooms are minimal but perfect for island life. The owners are too nice to deal with difficult people!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Family owned hotel. Rooms are large and clean. Safe, blow-dryer and any other amenities are available. Front desk is maned 24hrs and you cannot get any closer to night life, port, and city center than this. Hotel is on the top of a hill and is acceptable through side streets or direct access by stairs. Stairs harbor various bars/lounges and a few boutique stores. Noise cannot be heard from hotel.
Rooms in addition have a second bed that is good for group s or families.
They serve breakfast and have an attached cafe/bar.
Fantastic views of the marina and main strip.

Hotel Adamas' owner, in collaboration with Small Islands travel agency, systematically overbook their rooms.
In my occasion, I had booked 2 two-people rooms, 3 months before my arrival in Milos, having pre-paid 80% of the total cost. Two days before my arrival, I called them to check that everything with my booking was alright and they ensured me that everything was fine.
Unfortunately, when we arrived, someone, working for Small islands agency led us to some other rooms, outside the center of Adamas, telling us that our reservation was meant for these rooms. After long and exhausting discussions with both Hotel Adamas owner and Small islands agency none of their excuses made sense.
These people systematically use overbooking, playing on the edge of the greek law. The worst part is that they NEVER apologized, never. They always responded as if overbooking is something that is meant to happen naturally.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The booking of this accommodation was the WORST choice I' ve ever made.
We had booked two double rooms for hotel Adamas three months before our arrival. When we reached the island they led us to some other rooms far away called "Play with sand" WITHOUT having informed us. They said that Hotel Adamas was overbooked and we couldn't stay there using many excuses. We had to search for other available rooms in the island loosing a whole day from our trip.
Do NOT choose this hotel for your stay in Milos. Hotel Adamas is UNTRUSTWORTHY.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hotel looks great. Minimal in the traditional way with a modern twist. Great for a night drink at the bar above the harbor with mellow music quality music. Refined scenery despite the hustle and bustle of the port bellow. The Mojito was nothing to write home about.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst experience ever! Avoid this “hotel”!
Firs of all, this isn’t a hotel, it’s a set of few apartments in one building (no breakfast and room cleaning every 3rd day).
We booked 7 nights. First day we had late check in because of the ferry arrival. Upon our arrival they told us that A/C in our room is broken and put us in some very old apartment near to the hotel (without A/C, old furniture and toilet..). Just for info, they charged us more than 100€/night.
Tomorrow we accidentally find out that they have lied to us and gave our room to someone else. The owner wasn’t ashamed at all and tried to avoid responsibility and fault someone else. He didn’t apologize to us not even once.
In addition to that we had to wait until 3PM for new check-in in our room and lost our time for nothing. The owner and all people who works there (probably his family) are totally unfriendly. You don’t feel welcome there, they just want your money.
Don’t recommend this place at all!!
