The small family run restaurant is knocking out world class food at dinner time and rivals anything on island. Eating here is a must for an foodie who visits the island - be warned, you must book. The secret is getting out!

Perfect well appointed peaceful location, A 30 second walk, directly to the sandy beach , Barely wore shoes all week ( not even flip flops) The nicest, friendliest, most obliging owners and staff. Nothing was a problem for them . I really appreciated being given a pot of hot water every morning and drinking my tea on my balcony :) Large spotlessly clean airy bedroom which was attended to daily, great water pressure in shower. Al fresco dining area which serves DELICIOUS food , a lot of it sourced from owners’ own farm ( Green salad with Sifniot cheese, home grown oven baked peppers and tomatoes, stuffed with rice, pine nuts and Corinthian raisins, a homemade rose and geranium liqueur, I am still salivating about the flavours) It was hard to leave such a beautiful island after such an idyllic week and I am already planning to return next spring. Straight to Bouli’s Xx

Other than that , the shower was extremely small, the beds uncomfortable, they didn’t clean properly, they didn’t even leave clean towels only upon request. The safe had no batteries. The ceiling fan was not working. Upon arrival they didn’t even leave us water in the fridge - not even one bottle. If someone wants to stay in Kamares I would suggest to find another hotel/apartment.

Starting from the beginning, the lady at the desk announced us that we would not have to room we have booked on booking. My wife and I had to sleep into two small and uncomfortable beds. Although the beds were not ok, they “arranged” this situation by sticking two small beds together, filling the gaps with table sheets. The rooms were decorated in a very old fashioned way. When we slept we noticed that we had really thin wall separating us from our neighbors… We did not have enough electrical outlet for two. The shower was small, with sticky dirty curtains. The toilets were really smelly from sewage odors. Some positive stuff : - The hotel is really close to the sea. - The cleaning ladies are nice. - The rooms are clean
