★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place was amazing! It is right by the beach and very close to the town centre with lots of good restaurants around. It is also just a short drive from both the airport and the port. The owner was amazing. She picked us up from the port and also gave us a ride to the airport when we left. Breakfast was delicious and she made sure to have extra vegetarian options since we didnt eat meat. The room was very clean and comfortable. Definitely recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our room was standard and the bathroom was a bit small but the best parts of this hotel are the location and hospitality. Once you walk out the front of the Ilion you are steps away from beautiful Agios Georgios Beach. There you can relax in the sand and swim in the clear Aegean Sea. In addition, you are within easy walking distance to grocery stores, shopping, the marina waterfront, port, castle, museums, Temple of Apollo and dozens of restaurants. You do not need a car if you stay here. The host, Sofia, was wonderful. She picked us up and dropped us off at the port, printed documents we needed and her breakfasts were amazing. Every day she baked freshly made Greek specialties and treats that were delectable. She would also prepare cooked-to-order eggs for us. She made this a 5-star rating. If you want to stay in a clean hotel that’s close to the beach and town, and you want to experience Greek hospitality at its finest, Ilion is the place for you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The location is perfect, less than 100 steps the the beach. The town is very close also. Our room had a large balcony that you could see the ocean from. We had a two bedroom room that was very clean and quiet and had plenty of plugs for chargers. Each bedroom had lovely sea air breezes that blew through in the night. The rooms were large and the beds very comfortable. The shower had great water pressure and plenty of hot water. The linens were lovely and were changed daily. The breakfast was FABULOUS. A wide variety of breakfast foods with the pastry choices being new each day.
