★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place looks like a castle which is really cool. The pool is very nice and you can go there without booking a room. It is a nice place to chill. The staff is very nice to talk with and answered all of our questions.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a wonderful place to visit! I stayed there just for a night, though I spent lots of time exploring the surroundings. The rooms are cosy and clean, but poor lit. The breakfast is satisfying. Last but not least it is pet friendly (my dog accompanied me on my trip)! Outside of the "castle" there is a small exhibition of domesticated animals, such as bunnies, birds and ponies, free for the visitors to watch them. I'd recommend visiting this place even just for a coffee break.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's like it got out of a legend or a fairytale... Nice and cozy rooms. Wonderful view and a lovely garden. For the animal lovers there is a nice pen with various local animals. I totally recommend it!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rest in an amazing Middle Centuries replica Castle rooms in the middle of the forest of Stavroupoli Village in Xanthi. Kind and friendly staff, excellent service (breakfast needs improvement), a small pool for chilly dives only, donkeys, geese, ostriches and lambs, wild goats and other animals. Only the sounds of the forest break the silence. Try to visit and enjoy!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great place to visit, wonderful location, very friendly hosts and reasonable prices. There are many animals for children to see, including some exotic ones such as ostriches. Comfortable rooms and a very cozy fireplace in the lounge, a generous breakfast included in the price and a collection of items (including a full armour) are some of the things you can enjoy there. Enjoy!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The location is magical! The stone castles, the garden and the animals are fantastic! Mrs Lia and Giota are super helpful and deal with everything with a big smile on their face! The only small downside is that the room was a bit dark and and the main double bed a bit squeaky.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An excellent destination for family vacations that you and your children will love.
You can easily see from the pictures that the hotel stands out both as being a themed venue, but also for the hospitality and exceptional kindness of the owners and employees, as well as for the opportunities offered to visit nearby locations.
The buildings are as they appear in the pictures, small castles. Each building, as far as I could tell, had two apartments, two on the ground floor and one or two above. We stayed at one of the ground rooms that have direct access and view to the wide and beautiful area of the hotel grounds. The rooms vary in sizes, are surely spacious enough for a double bed, and even the smallest ones do not get cramped if a third bed is requested. They are equipped with several basics such as small fridge/ice box, plentiful (great quality) shower gel, safe, never-ending hot water in the bathroom, a moderate sized tv flat-panel with working channels (i.e. good reception), fast and free wifi with great signal, and a more than adequate air conditioning unit, but no oven or microwave. The bed matrices are comfortable. What stands out to a large degree is the exceptional build quality of everything and how clean everything is. The theme is maintained to a high degree in the rooms as well, with a strong and delightful impression of mid-evil wood & stone. The kids and we loved it. For those of you that love hidden meanings and symbolism, you will find plenty of those throughout the grounds.
The hotel is very quiet that makes it ideal for relaxing with the family. When going to sleep, if you leave your windows or doors open then in the morning you will wake up by the beautiful sounds of the birds chirping which we found exceptionally pleasant and truly adds to the feel of the theme.
In the morning one can visit a thematic park with several animals that is located just across the parking lot of the hotel. There you will also find a playground for the younger ages. There is also a pool available but at the season that we visited it was closed so I cannot comment on that.
Another very strong point of the hotel is its personnel. The people at the reception and the bar/breakfast buffet are very friendly, hospitable and ready to assist. We had a very long and pleasant talk with the very kind owner (wife) who storied out aspects of the history of the venue and suggested places to visit.
Finally, the breakfast was very well prepared, tasteful and plentiful. I emphasize here as well how clean everything was and that the high standards placed on first ingredients and preparation was evident. To our agreeable surprise we found several flavors of home made marmalade (jam). I especially appreciated the scrabbled eggs.
Surely we will choose Nemesis again in the near future. There are many more local landmarks to visit with Nemesis as a starting point which we didn't have enough time in our first stay.
I'm very pleased to have discovered the Nemesis Hotel, and very pleased by my family's stay there.
