★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Clean ,neatly. Problem is communication because owners do not now the word English. Breakfast is good but for lunch we have problem. Hotel have not plase for prepare a lunch and in the whole place there is no shelter where we can eat. 5 stars with hope this will correct when we come next time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We visited the hotel in early July 2021. The hotel was almost as desolate as the area. Nevertheless the stay at the hotel was reasonable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed at the Philoxenia Hotel for Three nights at the end of May and I can recommend it very highly. We had a large comfortable room, a balcony with a superb view of part of the beautiful Rhodope hills, and the hosts were charming and eager to help in any way. Ideal place for walkers or birdwatchers or travellers to stay in this very beautiful and unspoilt region.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You won't find nicer people in the world. Super clean and overlooking the village of Paranesti. Spacious rooms with a spacious bathroom and shower (rare around these parts). Price was fare. As a side note the village is small and doesn't offer much in the way of night life and such but wonderful for the outdoors-types and more active holiday goers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had an exceptional stay. Rooms are well furnished and of high quality materials. Outdoor common space with grass and plants gives you a warm feeling.
Mrs Nitsa prepared hand made breakfast and cooked tasty meals for us.
The town has nothing special but acts as a hub from where you can go into the frakto forest area, or the river nestos.
Price was fair for what was offered, and there's nothing like it in the area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What can somebody say? An outstanding hotel with very warm and hospitable owners, clean rooms that look on to the valley bellow and the most amazing breakfast you have ever tasted! This hotel is highly recommended! Visit it any time of the year and you will not be disappointed!!!
