★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place to have an overnight stay when visiting the impressive monasteries of Athos mountain. The room was casual and with shared bathrooms, but clean ones. The variety of the dishes of the restaurant, as well as the food was very good, the staff of the hotel was helpful and polite.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Expensive hotel rooms for a badly smelling common bathroom and a terribly reeking backyard access way. The room I was given had no desk or chair and when I asked for a chair, the tattoed young man told me that he can't help me with any chair. He then excused the terribly foul odour of the backyard in a sleazy dishonest way by stating in a nauseatengly girlish manner: "The mountain! The animals!" Well, I've been to the wildest parts of the Holy Mount, around and on the Athonite Peak, and there was no unpleasent smell there in the wilderness, as opposed to what they had here in the capital city.
As for the food, I haven't seen anything great as advertised by others in the photos they posted.
