The worst experience I had in a hotel. It is not for sure a 4 stars hotel, not even 2 stars. First of all it is not 150m to the beach as they say in description. It is located on a hill, and everything is uphill, and climbing. From the parking you have a serious climb, then for getting to the restaurant for breakfast again climbing , and the same for pool. And there are no elevators- I do not understand a 4 stars hotel without elevators. My wife is pregnant and it was impossible for her to do all that climbings. Then the rooms...in the description the pictures look nice and cosy, and you get smell of mold. The hotel offerd an " upgrade" in a a room in an annex of the hotel, someting next to the parking place , not in the hotel building. The AC in this room was poor and the heat in the room made the sleeping terrible. The rooms where dusty, overused and not cleaned, and the flushing toilet makes a sound the wakes up the rooms next to you ... We arrived at 23.00 and it was impossible to look for another hotel. Next day we left the hotel, we asked for refund but we were refused due to the reason that is not the owner issue that is not easy to access the main facilities -pool and restaurant althought, on booking was never mentioned that is a cliff hotel. There was a person from the reception who tried to do something but the general manager did not cared about nothing, not even the reason of having a pregnant woman who could not do all the stairs and uphill in the hotel so refused to refund us. I submit the review as the worst and terrible experince I ever had in a hotel.

Not even a 2 star hotel, very poor facilities, on high hill, far from the beach, very poor breakfast, rooms are full of dust, the ac is old and noisy, the toilets are infect and smelly. One star for the kind and polite man at the reception, that was the only positive aspect. In our group there is a pregnant woman and it was impossible for her to get from the room to the pool or restaurant, as those are in the upper part of the hotel. We politely asked for a refund and the receptionist told us that the manager refused. In the hotel description it doesn’t say that the hotel is up cliff and it is not suitable for people with mobility problems. The hotel is not close to the beach, it is a false description. We left and lost our money, but we will make complaints on every authority that can help us, as the hotel’s description is false. Never to come back again, very bad experience.

If you use the elevator from their hotel you can skip the hassle of the hill, have this very important detail in mind. Not far at all from the beach. Logical prices in relation with services on a very quiet area. Nice breakfast and decent cuisine for lunch. The main part are the people working there. You would be amazed with their attitude and their personality. Mainly everyone in reception and bar/restaurant are top class people to help you and guide you with their smile and knowledge. Additionally almost everybody have mythological names :p seriously, staying there was the best choice I did! Will visit Chania again and stay at the same place again. !

Beautiful hotel, perfect location. A little up the hill and with the stairs 2' away from the beach. Quiet place, but close to restaurants. Very nice breakfast with a great view. Nice rooms with airconditioning. Friendly people. I've been here many times and for sure will return again.

This is an adequate 2* hotel at best!! The only saving grace are the staff who are friendly and professional. The room allocated to my wife and was extremely dated, on the small side with an awkward layout. We will definitely NOT stay here again on our next visit to Crete.

Absolutely lovely hotel! Staff is extremely nice and helpful, tasty breakfast, lovely view from the restaurant. Rooms aren’t the most modern, but everything was working, including air conditioning. Swimming pool is nice, with tasty cocktails from the bar. The only downside I can think of is that there is a bit of a climb to get there.

Rooms are quite old and beds make sound every time you turn. Some fireworks make noise at night. Salad ended in the middle of evening buffet. Beautiful venue and very friendly service. Good breakfast.

The hotel is really nice and convenient. Not only has it got a wonderful view,it is also very close to the beach! The rooms are really spacious and clean while the facilities and the friendly,, welcoming atmosphere is all avisitor needs in order to spend a relaxing holiday and enjoy themselves. Finally, I must give credit to the food offered; both breakfast and dinner were excellent!
