Breathtaking. Every moment at this hotel felt like a dream, and John and the staff at the hotel made sure of that! The views from our room were spectacular, we enjoyed watching the sunset from the hot tub on our balcony (not something we’ll easily forget!) We enjoyed a great breakfast delivered to our balcony or the pool each morning. The location is perfect as a 6 minute walk to the bus stop means you can travel easily to anywhere on the island (a big bonus to staying in Fira). If you aren’t already convinced by the pictures, listen to this review - STAY AT HOTEL THIREAS and your trip to Santorini will be magical.

Engaging in open forms and writing reviews tend to be something that I would stay clear of. Still, after my experience with hotel Thireas I feel it would be unfair not to inform anybody that may be considering stopping here. I landed in Greece, and unfortunately, my baggage did not (which had my bank cards in). I arrived at the hotel at 11.00 pm to where there was no receptionist. After calling the number of the hotel, one hour later, the hotel supervisor came, whereby I filled in the necessary forms which asked for debit or credit card (even though the room had already been paid and funds taken). I explained my misfortune of losing my bag and not having a credit card to give in. The hotel supervisor then refused me entry to saying it would be against the company policy, and said, unfortunately, I would not be able to stop for the evening without my card details. I explained to the supervisors that this would mean I would sleep out on the street for the night, to which he responded, β€œI’m sorry to hear that, but it is not my problem.” Lucky I found a hotel close by ( the Atlantis hotel) that was willing to take me in for the evening sympathy for my situation. The following morning I returned and asked for a refund to be given due to being unable to stop in the hotel. Again the supervisor kept the same blasΓ© attitude to my situation and refused even to refund the nights stay. If you are still contemplating staying at this hotel that holds no morals or levels of humanity, I would like to illustrate one further reason why not to stop. As mentioned before, at 11.00 pm there was no staff managing the hotel. The hour I spent sat waiting for the supervisor was in an environment that could only be described at a frat party. The hotel was not the tranquil place advertised on its website. If you choose to stop here, then I hope your experience is more pleasant than mine, but you have been warned.

Wonderful stay while in Santorini. The hotel is located in a great location in Fira - steps away from the main area with easy access to everything. Beautiful views and wonderful, accommodating staff. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful served in the room or on the balcony each morning. Bags were brought up and down the steps for us with airport transfers arranged.

Buyer Beware! The hotel was nice and in a good location. We were upgraded due to it being low season. Unfortunately, we needed to cut our stay early by one night. We had a discussion with the hotel manager, John. He needed to obtain approval from the general manager. The next day when we spoke with him he had said that he received approval to refund us the one night. Since the hotel was booked through AMEX Travel, we needed to get them on board. After receiving this information from John, we reached out to AMEX Travel to take care of the refund. AMEX Travel called the property and spoke to John saying that it was fine however he wanted an email sent to the hotel. We departed the next day only to get back to the States to find out the hotel now denied the request. John lied to our face and to AMEX Travel. Very disappointed. I’m not upset about not getting the money back but don’t lie to me. Shady hotel and management unfortunately.

The best out of country experience I have had. John, the hotel manager and receptionist and everything in between, was amazing. He helped us rent a car. He helped us with questions we had around the clock. The hotel room would always get cleaned (if we didn't deny it lol). The breakfast was great. Filling and helped with my energy with all the stairs. The patio above was beautiful. This was a beautifully amazing place!

The good: nice staff. great views. great location. super clean. delicious homemade pastries at breakfast. The bad: cheap, squeaky, hard bed. The doors and locks were super loud and hard to open/unlock - we woke up any time a neighbor entered the nearby room. I don’t think someone with arthritis could ever open the door. Transfer to the airport was rushed and chaotic even though we left early. That was a bad ending to a good visit.

The room was amazing, 3 separate rooms and a lot of open space with a full kitchen and 3 bathrooms. The hot tub and outdoor space has an unreal view of the sunset. The breakfast was not the greatest but was kind of expected as the hotel does not have it's own kitchen.
