★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We recently spent 2 weeks at HydraVista on the lovely island of Hydra. Its a terrific place to stay and a great way to kick back and get away from the chaos of ordinary life. The Island supports a more relaxed lifestyle with walking, water taxi's or donkeys being the only modes of transport.
Hydra Vista provide beautifully finished accommodation overlooking the sea. Very comfortable and convenient. Trevor was the most friendly host, very welcoming and keen to ensure our needs were met.
If you are looking to chill out this is the place for you. There are great restaurants all along the coastal walk into the main town (approx 3 kms away ?) We enjoyed the walk into and out of town and since we visited a new path has been built which will make it even more convenient in 2017.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a great stay for a week in one of the small, lovely apartments at Hydravista. Trevor, the owner, is very friendly and helpful; the location is great, a stone's throw from a great beach and walking distance from three taverns; the room is beautiful, elegantly furnished and well equipped. Only potential problem is the distance from the town, which requires using sea taxis or the regular passenger boats: not a problem in itself but if the sea is rough the boats won't leave and it's a 30 minutes walk. Very well worth it anyway!
