★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited Vlychos Plakas beach in September 2021 - lovely scenic beach off the beaten path (50 mins walk from the main port). Warm, clean blue water however full of pebbles rather than sand (a little difficult to get in and out of the water). Great facilities - a sunbed is available for a few euros and there is a bar service and changing rooms. Would recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the best spot in all of Hydra. It will cost €8 per person (4 Euros each way) to ride the water taxi from the main port of Hydra. There is a beautiful restaurant with delicious food and if you are lucky, you will find lounge chairs and an umbrella, those are extra but well worth it. This place is super busy and is usually frequented by couples and families. This is definitely not for people that want to party but more for people that want to relax. There are places on the beach to lay a towel and relax. The beach has large pebbles/rocks. Make sure to bring water shoes. In general, Hydra is very pricy and much more expensive than the other islands. When visiting Hydra, make sure to bring lots of money. Figure about €300 per day per couple.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fun beach with lots of deck chairs and a nice restaurant that serves smoothies, coffees and fresh seafood. You can spend a good 3-4 hours here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Beach club is amazing. Great food. million dollar views. coffee ☕ is also very good. crystal clear water and very friendly staff. no comment on rooms as we did not stay at the hotel.
