N	Nicholas Sanford on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Without a doubt of the best EXPERIENCES (not just meals) of my life. Hytra is truly the epitome of food creating amazing memories. From the beautiful views of the Parthenon to the incredible service, the amazing wine pairings, and the delicious food - you do NOT want to miss out on this experience. We were nervous getting the 14 course meal with wine pairing (thinking it may be too much for us), but it was perfect and I'm so glad we did it. We definitely would have felt like we missed out if we did the shorter course option. Beware - we were there for almost 3.5 hrs eating so make sure you plan to dedicate your evening to this amazing experience! Highly recommend doing it your first day in Greece because it was an excellent way to kick off our trip!

The furniture and design, well, a question of taste, could be a bit more elegant, but anyhow… Most important: the food and service was AMAZING! Nothing more to say… ☺️

Some good dishes and wines in there but overall underwhelming and not worthy of a Michelin star or the price tag. Expectations for a Michelin star restaurant are high and the degustation menu with wine pairing was simply not impressive at all. I don't know enough about how Michelin stars are given but I'm surprised that Hytra restaurant maintains it to this day. If you are looking for a Michelin star experience in Athens you'd better go to Herve at Petralona: the dishes there are light years ahead of the Hytra dishes. The food is inventive with great tastes, the presentation fantastic, the service out of this world and the ambiance as it should be. If you like gourmet and trying menus pls don't miss it. We had the 11 course degustation menu and was absolutely great.

Restaurant itself easy to book, romantic theme, too quick between dish to dish, wine pairings was just OK. They should let customers know in advance rooftop is not open in November. Was very excited to sit up there……

Staff was great and very friendly, gave nice advices on wine along our meal. We ended up staying 4hr30 so we had a good time. Regarding meals, everything was good but we felt like there was always something missing. Basically it was always a single product with sauce so there was always an association or side missing. The cod was amazing and the sauce very tasting though!
