We like to think of ourselves as a place where you can enjoy a relaxing atmosphere, where you can taste original greek recipes, enjoy our unique listing of spirits and traditional aperitifs. For those who are brave enough we recommend the ones that are not anise flavored.
Respecting our more than 60 years of history, we are not a hipster place and we do not intend to become one.
At times you might enjoy live unpopular music, performed by regulars who are too shy to participate in talent shows.
We also welcome early birds that simply want to have coffee, though we have to admit that our communication style improves when the sun goes down…

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'll start with the not so great: we placed our order for the main course and after 45min of waiting, we were told that we did not place an order... The waiters were very busy and either forgot to pass the message or there was a mix up at the kitchen. Either way, during the 45min no one checked on us to see if we were ok. We than had to wait another c30 min for the food to arrive and when it did, there was no squid on it despite the big fish platter presumably coming with one... Not a great experience, frustrating really.. What was good, was the quality and taste of the seafood - amazing. I was so looking forward to eating at this place, but ended up disappointed by poor service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Everything we tasted was carefully prepared, the portions and tastes were satisfying. There is a wide selection of small plates in the menu, but the real asset is the fish menu. The staff was helpful and assisting while ordering and the place has a friendly atmosphere. We left feeling justified with our choice, a real bang for the buck.

Was the first place we went to after arriving to Athens. Stumbled upon this by chance and didn’t regret it for a second.
First night we got roe dip, French fries, squid stuffed with feta, grilled octopus and 4 glasses of homemade wine and paid for all €36+tip.
Everything was so perfect we came back two nights later. We had to wait for a table for about 30 mins, the waiter just brought us a carafe of homemade wine and told us that was on the house since we needed to wait so long. They then comped the second carafe as well because of the wait.
Service is unparalleled, food is flavorful and authentic and everything made in a truly amazing experience both of the times.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good grilled meat and seafood. Very big portions. You can take one dish for two. Even french fries are served in a huge bowl. However prices are not so expesive.
Only one remark regarding the service: my wife almost finished her kalamari until I get my grill mix.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We walked in but need to wait for 15-20 mins for a seat as this place was packed! But it’s worth the wait - ordered the kebab with chips, grilled seabass, prawn - all were so good and tasty. Service was friendly and pricing was very reasonable- so good we came back again the next night for dinner. Even more people waiting as it’s Saturday dinner - highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went here for our first dinner in Athens as it was really close to our Airbnb and we were not disappointed. The food was absolutely delicious and the portions were huge. The meat platter for one person was absolutely huge. The wine was sweet and we ended up drinking a bit more than we planned. Service was really nice and they even brought us complementary wine. Overall, I highly recommend this nice little local restaurant with great food and nice staff.
