★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Πολύ όμορφος ναός που βρίσκεται πολύ κοντά στο Χωριό Βουνάρια Μεσσηνίας. Βρίσκεται μεταξύ δυο λόφων, του Προφήτη Ηλία με το ομώνυμο εκκλησάκι και του λόφου Γουλά στον οποίο συναντάμε ερείπια ενετικού κάστρου ( που πολλοί ταυτίζουν με το Castro Franco). Η κατασκευή της ανάγεται στο 1712 σε θέση πιθανώς παλαιότερου ναού. Χαρακτηριστικό είναι το τριώροφο κωδωνοστάσιο 12 μέτρων που είναι φτιαγμένο από πωρόλιθο και φέρει χαραγμένο το έτος 1840.
 Very beautiful church located very close to the Village of Vounaria, Messinia. It is located between two hills, Profitis Ilias with the homonymous church and Goulas hill where we find ruins of a Venetian castle (which many identify with Castro Franco). Its construction dates back to 1712 on the site of an probably older church. Characteristic is the three-storey bell tower 12 meters which is made of porphyry and has the year 1840 engraved.
