Μετά την απελευθέρωση από τον Ιταλογερμανικό πόλεμο, οικοδομείται εκ νέου και εγκαινιάζεται από τον Μακαριστό τότε Μητροπολίτη Κορίνθου κυρού Μιχαήλ, ενώ θεωρείται ως ο πρώτος Ναός που ανηγέρθη μετά τον πόλεμο στην Μητρόπολη της Κορίνθου. Μέχρι το 1990 εξυπηρετεί ως ενοριακός Ναός τις λειτουργικές ανάγκες των ενοριτών Καλαμακίου, ενώ μετά την ανέγερση του νέου Ιερού ενοριακού Ναού Αγίων Αναργύρων, λειτουργεί πλέον ως κοιμητηριακός Ναός. Εσωτερικά η εκκλησία είναι πολύ "ζεστή" με υπέροχες αγιογραφίες. Εφημέριος είναι ο πατήρ Βασίλειος, ένας αξιόλογος, σεβάσμιος και ταπεινός ιερέας, που χαίρει τον σεβασμό και την εκτίμηση, όχι μόνο των ενοριτών του, αλλά και της ευρύτερης περιοχής. The Holy Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary of Kalamaki was demolished in 1928 by the then earthquakes. Until 1990, it served as a parish church for the liturgical needs of the parishioners of Kalamaki, while after the construction of the new Holy Parish Church of Agioi Anargyroi, it now functions as a cemetery church.
