Ο Άγιος Αρσένιος γεννήθηκε το 1550 στα Καλογριανά της Καρδίτσας και το 1584 ο Οικουμενικός Πατριάρχης Ιερεμίας Β' ο Τρανός τον έχρισε Επίσκοπο Ελασσόνας και Δομενίκου. Εκοιμήθη 13 Απριλίου 1621. Η Ελασσόνα γιορτάζει τη μνήμη του στις 8 Μαίου.

Saint Arsenios was born in 1550 in Kalogriana, Karditsa, and in 1584 the Ecumenical Patriarch Ieremia II Tranus made him Bishop of Elassona and Domenikos. He passed away on April 13, 1621. Elassona celebrates his memory on May 8.
