★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Βρίσκεται στο Αθάνι, το τελευταίο νοτιοδυτικό χωριό του νησιού, στο δρόμο για την παραλία Γιαλός. Χτίστηκε στη θέση αρχαίου ιερού, άγνωστο όμως σε ποιον αφιερωμένο, επί Τουρκοκρατίας. Υπήρξε περιορισμένης έκτασης μοναστήρι με όχι ιδιαίτερη οικονομική δύναμη. Σώζεται τμήμα τοιχογραφίας στον ανατολικό του τοίχο καθώς και η παλιά εικόνα του προσκυνηταρίου, που “περιγράφει” την ομολογία και το μαρτύριο του Αγίου ενώπιον του ηγεμόνα και της μητέρας του Αγίας Ιουλίττης.
Επανειλημμένα κατεδαφίστηκε από σεισμούς. Το 1914 γκρεμίστηκε από σεισμό το παλιό καθολικό και χτίστηκε το νέο στη δεκαετία του ΄80 από τον ιερέα του Αθανίου, π. Γεράσιμο Αραβανή. Στον περίβολο του βρίσκονται σε εξέλιξη αρχαιολογικές ανασκαφές.
 Located in Athani, the last southwestern village of the island, on the way to Gialos Beach. It was built on the site of an ancient sanctuary, but unknown to whom it was dedicated during the Turkish occupation. There was a limited monastery with no particular economic power. A fresco painting on its eastern wall is preserved, as well as the old image of the pilgrimage, which depicts the confession and martyrdom of the Saint before the ruler and mother of St. Juliet.
It was repeatedly demolished by earthquakes. In 1914 the old cathedral was destroyed by an earthquake and the new one was built in the 1980s by Athanasios priest, Gerasimos Aravani. Archaeological excavations are under way in its enclosure.
