★ ★ ★ ★ ★ J'adore cette petite ville très sympathique de la Crète du sud au bord de la mer et non loin des montagnes. Baignade, randonnées, très bons restaurants variés, nourriture inventive et aussi locale. Les habitants acceuillants et des boutiques nombreuses pour trouver ces vêtements et bijoux à la mode à des prix intéressants. La vielle ville est restée authentique.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Η Ιεράπετρα είναι μια μικρή πόλη της νότιας Κρήτης με πολύ γλυκό μεσογειακό κλίμα. Σε όλο το χειμώνα μπορείς να περιφέρεσαι σ'αυτή με κοντό μανίκι. Ολόγυρα καλύπτεται από το πολυαιθυλένιο των θερμοκηπίων πρώιμων κηπευτικών. Θα πρέπει να υπάρξει σοβαρός σχεδιασμός όλης της περιοχής για μετατροπή της σε τουριστική, γιατί σε λίγα χρόνια η καλλιέργεια των εκτός σεζόν κηπευτικών θα είναι μη βιώσιμη.
 Ierapetra is a small town in southern Crete with a very sweet Mediterranean climate. Throughout the winter you can walk around it with short sleeves. All around it is covered by the polyethylene of early vegetable greenhouses. There should be serious planning of the whole area to turn it into a tourist one, because in a few years the cultivation of off-season vegetables will be unsustainable.
