Beautiful church ... On the back side there is also a toilet open. Only in the morning or even in the lunches the church was closed.

Ο Ιερός Ναός κτίστηκε το 1982 στη θέση του παλαιού Ναού ο οποίος γκρεμίστηκε από τους σεισμούς του 1981. Ο αρχιτεκτονικός ρυθμός του Ιερού Ναού είναι τρίκλιτη βασιλική κεραμοσκεπής με τρούλο. Εντύπωση προκαλεί στο εσωτερικό του Ιερού Ναού η τοιχογραφία της Πλατυτέρας που βρίσκεται ψηλά από τη μεσαία κόγχη του ιερού. In the center of Perachora is the new Holy Church dedicated to the Assumption. The church was built in 1982 in place of the old church which was demolished by the earthquake of 1981. The architectural style of the church is a basilica with a tile roof dome. Impressive inside the temple is the frescoes of Platytera, which is high above the middle nave of the sanctuary.
