★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Αρκετά μεγάλος ναός με όμορφο περιβάλλοντα χώρο. Αποτελεί την κεντρική πλατεία της περιοχής. Εντυπωσιακό είναι το μικρό αλλά όμορφο σιντριβάνι που κάθε τόσο αλλάζει χρώματα, καθώς και τα δένδρα και τα λουλούδια που είναι φυτεμένα στην πλατεία μπροστά από τον Ναό.
 Several large temple with beautiful surroundings. It is the central square of the area. Impressive is the small but beautiful fountain that changes color every so often, as well as the trees and flowers planted in the square in front of the Temple.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Μια υπέροχη Εκκλησία όπως όλες άλλωστε, με ωραίο παλαιό τέμπλο, σε όμορφη τοποθεσία και με ωραίο προαύλιο χώρο!! Πήγαμε για βάφτιση και ήταν όλα πολύ όμορφα!!!
A wonderful Church like all, with a nice old iconostasis, in a beautiful location and with a nice courtyard !! We went for christening and they were all very beautiful !!!

Μεταμορφώσεως του Σωτήρος, κεντρική ενορία, πανηγυρίζει στις 5 και 6 Αυγούστου ενώ κάθε Σεπτέμβριο διοργανώνεται η Γιορτή Σταφυλιού και την 1η Φεβρουαρίου γιορτάζεται ο προστάτης των αμπελουργών Αγιος Τρύφωνας. Στις 21 Μαϊου γιορτάζονται οι Αγ. Κωνσταντίνος και Ελένη στο ομώνυμο παρεκκλίσι λίγο έξω από τον οικισμό.
I.N. Metamorphosis tou Sotiros, central parish, celebrates on the 5th and 6th of August, while every September the Grape Festival is organized and on the 1st of February the patron saint of the vine growers, Saint Tryphon, is celebrated. On May 21, St. Konstantinos and Eleni in the homonymous chapel just outside the settlement.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Metamorphoseos tou Sotira Church, nestled in the center of the town, is the only church in Neo Risio.
The serving priests, father and son, are friendly and keep the church going.
A lot of people attend the service every Sunday, and other church-related programs

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best and only church in the area. It's right in the middle of the town square and it's decorated with lots of pine trees. It is a very spacious place, extremely suitable for any religious events such as weddings and baptisms. The environment is very friendly and it's safe enough for parents to let their kids wander around the square and have fun while the adults are celebrating etc.
