GASi opposes and condemns the present Russian military invasion of Ukrainian territory, with all of the inevitable terrible consequences which follow.
As group analysts we recognise the intensified polarising forces, which inevitably flow from this war and the need to resist them. Our Society’s best contribution to meeting the unfolding crisis is to struggle to maintain communication between all of our members, particularly those who are most immediately involved.
In this spirit, we particularly extend our sympathy and solidarity to those living through this time, in Ukraine and Russia, as well as those in all states which feel involved and implicated in this war.
