★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Potential customers beware — these folks will try to pin preexisting damage on you. We chartered a Bavaria 46C SB Apolatsis, which had cheap plastic furling line guides not suitable for the jib instead of proper blocks. Five of them exploded on the reefed jib under 20-25 kts breeze. Lo and behold, these folks yanked EUR 100, twice the cost of these POSs, from our deposit. Needless to say — absolutely not recommended.
P.S. Folks on the boat next to ours got cheated out of EUR 150 for a purported prop damage, although the company had no photo proof the prop wasn’t damaged before the boat was rented.
