★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Als mit dem Wiener Kongress die Briten die Oberhoheit über die Ionischen Inseln übernahmen, nutzten sie auch die Festung weiter und bauten in ihr neue Kasernen, ein Hospital und eine Garnisonskirche. Diese ehemalige Offizierskaserne wird heute vom Fachbereich Musik der Universität genutzt.
 When the British took over the Ionian Islands with the Congress of Vienna, they continued to use the fortress and built new barracks, a hospital and a garrison church in it. This former officers' barracks is now used by the university's music department.

Unacceptable in terms of communication with the secretariat! No matter how many times you call permanently you will not find a response. Big mistake for such a university ..!
