★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was great. My advice is to rent a car so that you can discover more of the lovely beaches on Corfu.
The owners are really friendly. Overall we had a fantastic time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There's a little tourist strip on the beach, north of Corfu Town on the island of Corfu (Kerkyra) in Greece. We walked a mile of this strip and found a slew of generic places that all looked disturbingly similar, and just about what you would expect for beach/tourist food.
Thankfully, we ended up at Ipsos Pasteria! A view of the bay, cloth table cloths, real hand-made pizzas, fabulous Greek salad, and you can't go wrong with a liter of the local red wine. The tall, thin waiter (who turned out to be the son of the owner) was attentive and thoughtful. When he heard us playfully negotiating over the last olive in the salad, he brought us a small bowl and said, "You like olives? These are the olives we don't even serve here; we save these for the family!" And we could see why, they were amazing!
Just a delightful meal and engaging conversation with the waiter. We chose really well!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Honestly, one of the best service given, food was nice too frappe was best I've had in corfu €3.50 and you choose how milky or sweet. Two friends shared the mega burger which was €18, I got the spicy pizza €11.50, friend got the pasta de aoili. Varied and if you did order a beer, it was accompanied with a ice cold glass from the fridge. Also great view of Ipsos beach. Given vegan sweets after meal. Free WiFi available aswell.
