You must avoid that place. The helmets are in a really bad shape and have seen many falls, it is unsafe as hell. The quads are not working well (ours broke down twice). And on top of that the staff is not friendly at all, they try to rip you off as if the quad were badly maintained because of you.

I've heard about their poor service and vehicles before but their terrible service begins before even renting a car. According to the person on the phone, they do not reserve cars "at the last minute", despite having two cars due to be returned. Their proposal was to go to the store and if nobody has rented them before we get there, then we could have one. I'd rather have to use the bus than proceed with any rental using their service, and this is from someone who also comes from Ios and has been visiting the island every summer. You're better off renting from one of the other stores or using public transport. Only use this as last resort.

I would not recommend to my worst enemy. The service was terrible and the ATVs were broken. We had to switch and then went back but they refused to change the ATV a second time even though the handbrake was broken (which is very important when you park on a island that is mainly hills) and the speed dial was not showing the speed (it was always at 0). They claimed that it was no big deal. Before going in the second time for the handbrake, we spoke to our hotel host to ask if he knew how to fix it. He automatically said “did you rent from Jacobs” we said yes and he said he guessed it because apparently a lot of people have issues with Jacobs. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Very bad experience. DO NOT RENT!!! from these guys. The ATV-s are in very poor condition, hardly managing to climb the hills, with 2 slim people on. Also, the owner is very rude - we were an hour late and he started shouting and saying we gotta pay another day. Check the contract! For every hour you're late, you gotta pay only 1/5 of the daily price. Anyhow - overall - a very bad experience.

very bad. we rented quads, one of which was stolen by the owner after a few days. luckily we knew the license plate and were able to trace the quad that was in front of the shop. probably he wanted us to believe we had lost it and then pay for the theft of the quad. I do not recommend. it's scam.

We have rented a quad 150cc. Perfect for 2 people on all the island. (50cc will be to small if you are two) The quad was good and the price too. 30€ per days. The staff was smiling. I would say certainly not the best adress on the island but good enough to rent there. It is 2min walking from the pier and you can see directly what you will rent

Officialy the worst place to rent your atv, car or scooter. We returned the vehicules right before embarking on the ferry, and seeing that we did not have much time they charged us double the price for the fuel. When we tried to bargain they became violent and took my friend by the neck and broke is 200$ Chain. When you arrive on ios, the first rental place would be Jacobs BUT trust me, be patient and go find a rental somewhere else.

BEWARE!! WORST CAR RENTAL COMPANY EVER. They tried to rip us off by asking to pay 40€ for a quarter of a tank of Fiat Panda. When we offered to pay only 20€ he took my friend by the throat and refused to let go. He even broke a valuable silver chain and said he was gonna beat us all to death. You are better of paying for taxis, they are very friendly and really cheap!
