Recommended to eat, not expensive, good food and they speak a little English.

Great, fresh, healthy Greek "own breeding" food for little money. Kind hosts, they speak some English.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Die Wirtin wirkte ganz schockiert, als plötzlich ein Auto mit (touristischen) Gästen anhielt und diese essen wollten. Es gab keine Karte, sie sagte sie könnte uns einen Salat und Huhn oder Rind oder Schwein machen. Wir entschieden uns für Salat und Huhn und uns wurde sogleich ein leckeres Abendessen bereitet. Das Ambiente ist original dörflich griechisch, noch nicht vom Tourismus "verdorben". Der Salat war der beste, den wir bisher auf der Kreta-Rundreise gegessen haben. Das Huhn war frisch und sehr lecker. Als "Geheimtipp" zu empfehlen, wenn man sich damit begnügen kann, dass es nur eine begrenzte Auswahl an Speisen gibt.
The landlady looked very shocked when suddenly a car with (tourist) guests stopped and they wanted to eat. There was no menu, she said she could make us a salad and chicken or beef or pork. We opted for salad and chicken and a delicious dinner was prepared for us straight away. The ambience is originally village Greek, not yet "spoiled" by tourism. The salad was the best we have eaten on the Crete tour so far. The chicken was fresh and delicious. Recommended as an "insider tip" if you can be satisfied with the fact that there is only a limited selection of dishes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really nice traditional Taverna. If you want to get real Crete experience and a family atmosphere. It’s one of the best places for it at the island. Also the small old town of Anatolia is it travel into past times. Lovely! The food is also very good.
