It's called panorama, because the view is amazing. Small menu but good, traditional food for fair prices.

I believe it could have been more stars, but after an hour we had yet to order and we didn't want to wait more. We would normally not have any problems with some waiting, but 3 other tables came after us and got to order and got their food. So for us it's a no, won't be coming back...

"Repetitio est mater studiorum". We had to be sure that all those memories that traveled with us last year back in Athens were not part of our imagination. So back to Kalamafka Crete it is! We spend 4 days in Ierapetra and visited this restoraunt all 4 of them! And how couldnt we. Here words like honesty, purity, joy and many other find their true meaning. And the food here, devine! Mrs Vaggelio cooks with her heart and soul using fresh products that came from their own land. The smell coming from the kitchen is mixed with that coming from the bbq corner. There, Panagiotis uses his mastery to impress. Taking all sorts of fresh meats, he creates dishes of high quality to be served. Aspasia with her high organisational skills, using her virtues in making each and every visitor feel like he belongs here. She uplifts the quality and reputation of this establishment even higher. And last but not least, Mr Giannis. The corner stone of this family. A genuine, pure hearted man that welcomes you like your part of his family. With his Creten aura, his jokes and his hospitality, helps to complete the entirety of this family businesss. We want to thank you from our hearts for all the things you did to make us feel part of your family.

Don’t go at night if you’re not Greek! Very unfriendly. Such a shame, the food posted in some of these reviews looked good! Where has your Cretan ‘filoxenia’ gone?
