★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lived up to its reputation as it came recommended to us by our hosts. Beautiful food, tasty dry house white wine. Waited 15 mins to be seated as it is very popular. Friendly, good service. Nice atmosphere, sat outside. Bring a jumper or a cover up if windy as can get a bit chilly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We are at this restaurant a couple of times during our 6 nights in Sifnos. We loved everything we had, each dish was prepared with care and attention to detail and the flavours were wonderful. The standouts were the lamb skewer with spicy aubergines and the octopus orzotto dish in a clay pot. It was all washed down with the very drinkable house wine and accompanied by cheerful and friendly service. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Definitely get here early or you'll be waiting 30-45 minutes for a table. Overall good food, not great. Excellent service. Prices are more expensive than other areas in Sifnos but that comes with it's territory. That said, compared to NYC, this is so affordable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ KAFENEIO DRAKAKIS focuses on tasteful Greek tapas style dishes (meze). Bring a group and order one of everything with beers. The tomato salad with rusk and lamb souvlaki are excellent. I recommend to go early, 7:00, to get a table, otherwise you may be waiting if you arrive after 8:30. The local cats that greet you are friendly. Walk around the town afterwards and enjoy the local shops that are open late.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A fantastic restaurant with wonderful Greek and Sifnian food. There are many tables set out in the street, the place was busy on a Friday night with some people waiting for tables but never for longer than 15 minutes. This is by all means worth the wait if there is one. We were two so only ordered four dishes but all were fantastic - fresh, delicious and quite different to the usual Greek fare. The chicken in wine sauce was a highlight for us but I'm sure everything is wonderful. If you get a chance have a chat with the owner Kostas - a local legend it seems.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We arrived here by accident. Apollonia was very quiet. Because everyone was eating here! Unpretentious, great service and high quality food. Very fairly priced. We will eat here again. Lamb skewers with spicy aubergines a hit! Zucchini balls light and tasty. Tasty mushrooms with halloumi. Even the house red wine excellent. Have been travelling all over Greece and this place is right up there. I even liked the Greek traditional music.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurant is the best traditional Greek food on any of the islands. We went twice last and twice this year over a 4 day stay and it truly is delicious. Highlights being the Chickpea balls and the Pork belly with honey is one of my favourite dishes ever !
