★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Die Taverne liegt idyllisch am Berg in dem kleinen Örtchen Exopoli. Von dort hat man einen schönen Blick ins Tal Richtung Georgeoupolis. Ebenso idyllisch sitzt man auf der Terrasse unter einem Weinblätterdach. Auch bei heißen Temperaturen ist es hier sehr angenehm zu sitzen. Die Begrüßung war schon sehr freundlich. So sind wir im Laufe des Abends noch intensiver ins Gespräch gekommen. Beim Essen haben wir uns für die Empfehlung der Tages entschieden: Lamm mit Kartoffeln. Es wird meistens tagesaktuell etwas spezielles zusätzlich zur Karte angeboten. Die Auswahl an Vorspeisen ist ebenfalls sehr gut. Mittlerweile sind wir bereits das 2. Mal im Kafeneio Exopoli gewesen und hatten so die Gelegenheit auch etliche Gerichte und Vorspeisen zu testen: alles hat fantastisch geschmeckt. Das Gesamtpaket aus Essen, Gemütlichkeit, Atmosphäre und Preis/Leistungsverhältnis sind einfach klasse. So werden wir heute erneut diese schöne Taverne aufsuchen und es wieder genießen.
Jeder der etwas besonderes sucht abseits der üblichen Touristik sollte diese Taverne aufsuchen.

 The tavern is idyllically situated on the mountain in the small town of Exopoli. From there you have a beautiful view of the valley towards Georgeoupolis. You can sit just as idyllically on the terrace under a canopy of vine leaves. It is very comfortable to sit here even in hot temperatures. The greeting was very friendly. So we talked even more intensively during the course of the evening. At dinner we decided on the recommendation of the day: lamb with potatoes. Something special is usually offered daily in addition to the menu. The selection of appetizers is also very good. We have now been to the Kafeneio Exopoli for the second time and have had the opportunity to test a number of dishes and appetizers: everything tasted fantastic. The overall package of food, comfort, atmosphere and value for money is just great. So today we will visit this beautiful tavern again and enjoy it again.
Everyone who is looking for something special away from the usual tourism should visit this tavern.

The food was fine, the host from the art! The red wine should be much better in terms of color, but certainly in terms of taste. Now it looked and tasted like engineered vermouth. Unfortunately...

It's worth seeking out for a visit particularly if you want a relaxing, peaceful break from the busy restaurants in Georgioupolis. Check in advance for opening times and for details of the regular or specials menu.
